Bovendien is er een overeenkomst met de Belgische buurgemeente Hamont-Achel. Deze overeenkomst houdt in dat bij spoedeisende brandbestrijding of hulpverlening in Hamont naast de brandweer van Lommel ook de Budelse brandweer wordt gealarmeerd en uitrukt.
